Finally, we hear the cast, crew, and HBO team making somewhat optimistic statements about the upcoming season, and we will take that as a Yes!
The hype around Euphoria is surreal! It started in 2019, and this became one of the seasons that set records of fan following and viewership like Vogue Vocal has never witnessed before! Season 2 set new records as the fondness grew, and it wasn’t just HBO platforms; social media was buzzing with Euphoria trends going viral! Fan pages, memes, edits, and even all the recorded episodes- the internet literally had “no chill” when it came to Euphoria! X made a statement that Euphoria was the most-tweeted-about TV Show of the decade! And oh, the theories and plot twists that the fans posted on Twitter made us realize how creative people are on social media! Honestly, many could actually write scripts of their own, and if they don’t get the official Euphoria Season 3, you never know, the fans might make up their own!

Every time we get a notification related to Euphoria Season 3 pops up on our screen, we get way too excited! We all heard the rumors about season 3, and just when we got our hopes up high, it was called off by the makers. But behold, HBO has said that we all were waiting for, “Euphoria is going into production in 2025; nothing has changed!” Phew! A sigh of relaxation as the HBO rep finally spoke to “The Independent” on November 8 last year!
Now that we have heard two official statements, one from November and one that we got back in July 2024, where HBO confirmed that the filming will start in January 2025, we know you have a few more questions! Is there going to be any change in the season’s main cast in Euphoria Season 3? So, major spoiler: Storm Reid bids farewell to Euphoria and won’t be a part of season 3! Other than that, we have heard that the entire main cast will return onscreen to reignite the magic!

The end of 2023 was a bit dark, as we thought. After WGA and SAG strikes, the season definitely had to face setbacks! However, HBO Chairman Casey Bloys broke the news that Levinson was working on the Euphoria Season 3 script, but still, the details about shooting and production weren’t shared! While all eyes were on Season 3, it was pretty apparent that increased the pressure on writer Levinson. As the makers discussed the reasons for the delay, they were pretty clear about the apparent obstacles. The strikes definitely played a significant role in the delay; however, the fact that Levinson struggled with the script was undeniable! He wrote and rewrote the script several times to reach the perfection the fans are waiting for!
After the WGA and SAG strike, the cast was constantly asked about their return to Euphoria in every press presence. The fans want to see the OG cast back on screen! Sydney Sweeney is one of the show’s most loved and iconic characters, and it wouldn’t have been Euphoria without her. Sydney Sweeny’s era started with Euphoria, and we can’t wait to see her back! In March 2024, Sydney Sweeney was promoting her movies, and when the press asked her if she was ready to take a break after all the promotions, her answer was, “I go into Euphoria!”
