Every year, the Venice Film Festival brings excitement for the fans. But in 2025, it felt less like a film festival and more like a fashion show. The red carpet was glowing, and the whole vibe was pure glam. Where George Clooney gave us classic Hollywood charm, Amal Clooney turned heads in her own stunning way. She came in wearing that fuchsia dress and practically declared the carpet her own henceforth.
Emma Stone? She put the little black dress on upside down and spiced it up in the most fashionable style possible. And Jacob Elordi? Casual cool king, showing that it does not require going overboard to get attention. Well, this was less of a film festival and more of the ultimate who wore what and who wore it best contest–and we were ready to live.
George Clooney reminded everyone why he’s still the king of suave. Stepping in with that signature grin, he rocked a classic black tux and crisp bow tie like it was effortless (because, for Clooney, it is).
Those who love Hollywood style say George nailed the tux, but actually, Amal owned the night. The moment she stepped onto the carpet in a strapless fuchsia gown, with a miniskirt hem and a voluminous train was Damn Good!
The cameras went wild. The bold color, the flowing silhouette, the understated accessories—it was elegant, powerful, and oh-so-Amal. Standing next to George, she was pure goddess energy, reminding us all why she’s fashion’s favorite plus-one.
Over in Venice, Jacob Elordi’s look became a style headline effortlessly. He embraced Bottega Veneta’s fresh menswear—think relaxed tailoring paired with the fashion house’s iconic woven bags. At arrivals, he carried matching Cabat and Odyssey Intrecciato luggage. For the press panel, he opted for a crisp, loose white shirt and pleated trousers—cool, nonchalant, and effortlessly chic. His airport look was straight out of the ’90s: black trousers, Prada sneakers, a laid-back cap—and yes, that suitcase outside vibe is back, baby.
The appearance of Emma Stone changed the definition of red-carpet chic. Instead of summer whites, she chose a Louis Vuitton halter-neck little black dress with an overlay of lingerie-style lace, a daring choice for a summer break. The glossy appearance featured an asymmetric midi slip and floral-lace lines, evoking a glossy, mysterious, and Italian Riviera vibe. Accessories were subtle yet luxe—Manolo Blahnik sandals, an Elsa Peretti snake bangle, and a Louis Vuitton ear cuff. Paired with her signature pixie cut and Kat-in-the-sun side part, the vibe was sophisticated without effort.
The buzz didn’t stop with our four. Venice has welcomed everyone from Julia Roberts and Cate Blanchett to Naomi Watts and Tilda Swinton, each bringing their own brand of grandeur to the Lido. The festival proved again that beyond films, it remains one of the world’s most coveted fashion stages.
